This is the last post of photos from my trip to Mexico, but I’ll have some other travel posts about Mexico coming up soon! If you haven’t read my other posts on my trip to Mexico (you can view all my posts on it here), I went toΒ San Luis PotosΓ, Mexico for the junior world racquetball tournament for my younger sister in November.Β San Luis PotosΓ, Mexico isn’t a touristy destination at all, so it was a great place to have an authentic experience of Mexico! And authentic Mexican food is definitely something worth experiencing.Β

My favorite part of our sightseeing adventures was going to Old CityΒ San Luis PotosΓΒ and seeing all the gorgeous old buildings. I have a little history of it on my first post about Old City San Luis PotosΓ and where the name came from if you’re curious. I loved how all the buildings were so rich with history and so beautifully ornate and colorful! I love bright colors (hence my favorite shoes), and Old CityΒ San Luis PotosΓ did not disappoint. I don’t think I’ve ever seen historical cathedrals in bright orange or yellow before, and it was pretty incredible. If you haven’t traveled there yet, I highly suggest going!Β

This is actually a water tower, and it’s on all the license plates in San Luis PotosΓ. I found a really neat old photo of it from the 1880s here

If you go toΒ San Luis PotosΓ, you MUST go to La Casa del Artesano for souvenirs! Everything is locally made and they have amazing prices. I loaded up on tons of Christmas presents!

Your photos are ahh-mazing! I’ve honestly never felt drawn to Mexico because most of the things I see about it relate to beachy resorts and all-inclusive vacays, which aren’t typically my jam. SO nice to see another side of Mexico though. San Luis Potosi looks like a beautiful place to wander around and take glorious pics (as you have haha!) The little details in the architecture melt my heart. Definitely would love to go someday!
