Spring in Philadelphia has been all over the place and we’ve had lots of dreary, rainy weather from the end of April to now, so I thought I would brighten things up with some flower pictures! This is my first spring in Philadelphia, and I’ve been surprised how weird the weather has been. Christmas and a lot of March was actually warmer than May is right now! I’m used to the North Carolina weather where spring is pretty much two weeks long in April and then it jumps into hot summer weather. So wearing boots and sweaters the first week of May was a bit of a change for me.
Spring in Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing
The spring flowers have been beautiful though, even if they took a long time to get here. I went to Penn’s Landing to see some spring flowers blooming, and I think it’s now my favorite spot to see spring in Philadelphia!
The crocuses were beautiful!
Prepare for lots of cherry blossom pictures because as a Washington, D.C. native, I LOVE cherry blossoms!
These blue skies pictures were taken on one of the few sunny days we’ve had lately
